Decorreu no dia 26 de Fevereiro de 2025, a campanha de sensibilização escolar na Escola Primaria e Secundaria de Cariaco, em Pemba. Esta atividade teve como principal objetivo sensibilizar e mobilizar os alunos, professores e membros do conselho da escola a refletirem sobre os impactos das mudanças climáticas e
a importância da preservação do meio ambiente.
Estiveram no local, mais de 100 participantes que no momento viram-se impactados com a informação que era partilhada através de teatro educativo, palestras e jogos interativos conduzidos pelos embaixadores e
multiplicadores ambientais.
No decurso da atividade, teve momento de contribuição e troca de impressões sobre as pequenas atitudes
caseiras que podem fazer toda a diferença na prevenção das mudanças climáticas e o meio ambiente como por
exemplo o descarte de resíduos em locais próprios, a plantação de arvores, a não queima de lixo
The epicenter of the actions took place on the 19th of August in the City of Maputo, where, in partnership with We World GVC and in collaboration with the Mafalala Neighborhood Secretariat, the Mafalala Environment Community Association (ACAM) and the Dambo da Association Mafalala, the Mafalala Neighborhood Drainage Ditch Cleaning Day was held under the motto “I Clean My Neighborhood”.
At the Mafalala Museum, a meeting took place to reflect on the role that young people and communities play in preserving the planet and containing climate change.
During the moment, there was a lot of interaction between the panel and participants about Climate Change and the need to adopt healthy environmental practices in our environment and community.
